Congratulation Sarah and Terry
Well today my parents have 9 grandchildren!!!! The ninth one just arrived this morning after being two days late and it's another boy!!! So out of the 9 grandchildren 3 are boys.
Jonathan Daniel Teal I believe is the name they have chosen was 8lbs. As soon as I get a picture which I am hoping to later this evening if my other sister went in to see them today and took a picture however if not as soon as I get one I will be posting it up. I can't wait to meet the little guy, but I guess he won't be that little when I see him he will be 4months old, ah it really does suck living this far from home at times like these. Congratulation guys on your little man. Miss ya love ya too.

The golden Pig
Well I knew that this year was the year of the pig in Chinese's astrology but I didn't realize this was the year of the Golden Pig. Depending on the source you read the gold pig happen either every 60 or 600 years, which is really cool. It says that babies born this year will live in comfort as wealth and luck are always near. This year is so important in the Chinese culture that there is an expected baby boon in China this year. I just thought this was cool where Noah was born this year and I have a bunch of friends that had or are going have babies this year.

A day at the Kwik-E Mart
Well for the promotion of the movie 12 7-Eleven through US were changed to Kwik-E Marts and we just happen to have one of them in town so Tom, Noah and I went to check it out. They were out of a few things so we might go back this weekend. It's been open for a while now and man it's still busy.

My new baby
Well it finally arrived today, and I am in love with it so far and can't wait to start taking pictures. This was a surprise gift from the best Husband in the world. It won't be for while but I can't wait to get extra lenses for it too. Like a bigger zoom and a wide angle lenses. I am soo excited, now I just have to find time to figure out how to work all the features on it.

Happy Birthday Sean
Well it's another Happy 1st Birthday to our nephew Sean. He has grow like a weed since we saw him at 3 months old. We hear he is a charmer with the ladies already, so watch out girls.

Well today is also the Irish festival in Miramichi with a large Flynn reunion of all the descendants of Patrick Flynn who came to Saint Margaret's, New Brunswick in May 1834. Bet it was a sight to see a large party of the Flynn clan. History of the Flynn

Sad day.....
......We are all sad today because Nannie had to fly back to Canada today. It was great having her down to help out and just spend time with us. I wish she could have stayed longer. So I haven't been posting much lately even though most of you, who read our blog haven't been posting lately either or you don't even blog.....You know I like to read what everyone else is doing too, you know!!!! hint hint. GET BLOGGING PEOPLE.
So to update you on everything that has been going on with us. Well lets see, Dirty diapers, feeding, holding the little man, trying to take time for myself and of course sleep. Well beside that not too much, but with nannie down we had more extra time to do somethings which was extremely nice however the time went so fast we didn't get to do all that we planned. Nannie, Noah, and I went for some walks most days. We took Nannie on a walking trail where she saw some birds and the wind was a lot cooler on the trail along the bay so that was extremely nice too. We took Nannie to Gilroy to the Outlet shopping stores. Noah and I did going on some long car rides with dad and Nannie which might have been too long for the little man but we survive them. We drove to big basin to show Nannie the big red wood trees and we went to Big Sur for a short walk in the woods. Let just say I am a little out of shape. Looking forward to getting the green light from the doctor to start exercising again (well more than just walking). Tom took Nannie to San Francisco twice while Noah and I stayed at home. They got to go to Alcatraz, golden gate park and bridge, cable car ride and for dinner to the stinkin' Rose(everything is cooked in garlic), and the next trip for Tapas (yummy Spanish food). Tom took Nannie to the Sunday farmers market and Nannie loved all the fresh fruit and brought back lots of fruit for us. We also bought a new stroller thanks to Nannie and Grampie Flynn. We don't have it yet but it's order, so we are looking forward to getting that so that we can go jogging and go on more bumpy trails for walks instead of staying on the paved trails. Thanks to Nannie, Tom and I got to run out and go see Harry Potter movie too, which I thought I would have to wait till it came out on video. Also we all went to dinner at a friends house to celebrate them on buying a new house, which is a beautiful home I must say, hopefully one day we'll have a home. Well that is all I can remember at the moment.

Our little man is a month old today
Well it's hard to believe that last month this time Noah was born. How time fly's, our little boy is a month old!!! Sorry folks but we haven't been taking many pictures lately. Our camera still doesn't like to take picture indoors for some reason. But good news is that tom let it slip last night that he bought me a digital SLR camera and it should be here on Monday at the latest. So hopefully there will be more pictures for all you to see. Tom also got us a camcorder too, so hopefully we will get some videos up of our little man too.
Well things are going pretty well. Tom's mom is down so we are trying to show her parts of California and of course she is spending time with Noah. Noah is doing well, I can't complain he's a pretty good eater and sleeper, he does gets fussy in the late evening but normally settle downs by midnight, which is nice. As of last Tuesday when Noah was just 3wks and 3days he gain 2lbs since he left the hospital making him 9lbs 3oz and he gain almost 2'' in length making him 21 3/4 ". Our little boy is growing so fast.

Happy Birthday Reagan
Well it's July 4th and down here it's Independence Day's so yay for the holiday. We didn't get out to celebrate Canada Day on Sunday and we probably won't get out to celebrate today either but oh well that's how life is. However the most important thing about today is that it's our youngest niece's Birthday today. She is turning the big number 1 today. I don't have a recent picture of her but maybe after her mom reads this she will email me one (hint hint Sandy) :). But I did get to see her on a video call last week and she is adorable and very much like her dad. People tell me she's a character and you never know what she's going to do. Man the grow up fast. That is one thing that really sucks about living so far away from family....You miss out on the children growing up. I swear each time I go home they are like 5 years older than the last time (well not that old but they sure do change a lot from year to year). Here are some Birthday Wishes to one of my greatest niece (I have 5 other awesome nieces and 2 awesome nephews) and some Birthday Kisses and Hugs. Love you all.

Labour Post for those who wanted to know.
Okay a lot of you have wanted to know how my labour was with little Noah. Well to start off I wouldn't change anything at all about my labour really except maybe wish I had the fourth doctor to deliver him but the fifth doctor was fine. It's a pretty short story really so it won't take too long to tell.
Well after complaining all morning and most of the afternoon about not enjoying being pregnant anymore, we get home from being out all afternoon shopping and my water breaks in the bathroom at 4:15pm. If it was any sooner it would have been either in the store or all over the car seat. Well they say that normally when most women's water breaks naturally it will be like a trickle and not like the gush in Hollywood movies. Well for me I got the gush, I thought it was never going to stop, and tom is laughing in disbelief at what he is seeing. We call L&D and they told us to come right in. I thought it was going to take forever so we took our time packing my hospital bag and stuff for tom etc. The hospital is about 20min away and 5 min into the drive my contraction start and they start right away at 4-5min apart. Once we get checked in and set up they told me it could be like this for hours. However Noah had other plans. We were 3 cm dilated when they checked me and an hour later we were 5cm and it pretty much continued at this fast pace, there were no breaks between my contractions, which I really didn't understand why. The Nursers and Doctors were really surprised that a first time mom was going this fast. In fact the labour was going so fast that although we saw 5 different doctors, the nurses almost had to deliver Noah because no doctors were free. I know they had the call button pushed and 5 nurses were running around and than all of a sudden a doctor showed up just in time. I pushed for 10min and Noah arrived at 9:24pm. Which surprised the doctors even more because Noah was face up(babies are supposed to be born face down normally), which normally makes for a harder labour and some women end up with C section because of it. We were pretty much the talk of the floor for a while at least. Now I couldn't have gotten through it with out Tom that is for sure. He kept me focused, calm and got me to do my breathing which I think is how I didn't get an epi. I was also happy I didn't need any stitches and let me tell you the natural endorphins after labour are so nice (just like a runners high). So I know this sounds crazy but I would rather do that labour again than the pregnancy for 9 months hahahaha. Yes I know I am weird. So that is basically my story.

Yes, we're still pregnant!!!
Well the doctor was surprise that I made it to my appointment today. She really didn't think I would still be pregnant. Things are progressing but we have a high chance of a C-section now b/c of how big the baby is. We are still hoping that it won't come to that but not much we can do if it does. Hopefully this week we will have our baby. Not much else is going on, with us. We'll let you all know when the baby arrives or another family member will help with the phone calls so don't worry someone will tell you when the baby is here.

Baby update
Well we had our doctors appointment today and I guess it went well. It was a longer appointment than normal because due to the baby's heart rate at the appointment, I had to go for a NST but all is okay. Well somehow I exploded in two weeks, No I haven't changed my eating either. The swelling however is getting a lot worse which the doctor said was still okay. She said she could see me going this week but she also said you might not, which is normal because most doctors will say after 38wks that you can go anytime. However she was surprised at the measurements b/c I was behind a week at 36wks appointment and now I am a week ahead and the big news is that yes folks it's an estimate and can be off a pound or two either way, where it's an est. BUT BASED ON TODAY'S MEASUREMENTS AND PALPATIONS SHE WOULD SAY AS OF TODAY THE BABY IS 9LBS. ALL YOU FOLKS THAT KEEP LAUGHING WHEN I SAY IT'S A BIG BABY FROM DAY ONE, WHO IS LAUGHING NOW!!!!! Oh well not much one can do but wait and see How big it really is and what the sex is and what the name is, we'll all have to wait till the big day.

Ah 14 days maybe
Well it's funny to see that potentially there are 14 days left, because 14 days into the pregnancy you don't even know if you are pregnant and here I am at 38wks pregnant and potentially only 14 days to go. Tom's still counting down the days, which I told him he might want to add another week or two to that count of his, because this little one is not going to want to come out.
Well through this whole pregnancy or I should say once everyone realized I was pregnant and not just gaining a little wait which was around 24 weeks, everyone kept telling me down here that I looked to small to be due when I was due (even last month).....OH how that table have turned. I am sure I have mentioned the swelling has started just after 34wks, thankfully it's not as bad as some women get but it still sucks and hurts. Anyhow my friend Laurie and I were out walking and near the end of our walk along the main street with all the shops and restaurants....in the matter of 15 minutes a part I had two older women just look at me and say:
"Oh you must be ready to go any day now, do you know what you are having"
me: "I have about 2 weeks to go and no we decided to wait to find out the sex".
Both ladies "OH IT'S A GIRL"
Hahahaha. I am not sure what to think of these comments. They don't bug me at all, I just laugh and than they continue to ask me all the pregnancy questions. I couldn't imagine though if I was really sensitive of these comments though, like some women can be. If I was I don't think I would be leaving the house anymore. So now I have gone from you can't be due in June to SHAMUUUUUUUUUUUU "the killer Whale" that is going to burst at any moment. Hahahaha
So I was hoping that the full moon last night might help me out a little and bring this little one closer to us but no such luck. I think this little one is never going to want to come out and meet us. Sort of like his or her dad and getting up in the mornings, they just don't want it to happen. We just got to wait to see when this little one decides to come or if the doctors decides. At least I know it will end sometime this month, thank goodness.
