Earth quake news......Noah wants to trick or treat with you.

So before Noah begins his trick or treat with you. We have to tell you that last night when we were carving our jack-o-lanterns we have felt our first earth quake and I can say I don't ever want to feel that again. At first I thought Dad and Noah were running up and down the hall and coming towards me or that it was our neighbours kid running in their place(got to love the thin walls). I yelled to Tom to ask what they were doing b/c he was in the other room watching hockey. When he yelled to me earth quake, now I mind you this all happen in a span of 10mins. So we ran to the door and stood in the door frame and met our across the pathway neighbours who were standing in their front door. Anyhow to make this story shorter, it was a 5.6 at it origin was a bit aways away but enough to shake us up and one picture frame fell off the bookcase. All I can say if a bigger one comes or a lot more I am moving.



Anyhow here are our jack-o-lanterns. I helped Noah carve his the little boo pumpkin, Daddy made the dead jack-o-lantern with the tongue sticking out and mommy made the pirate jack-o-lantern. Now tonight we get to roast some pumpkin seeds... yummy.

Well it's a little late but we got these take back in September when Noah was 3 months and 6 days old , so I thought I would share them with you.

It's a little sad face because shots day is always a sad day. But here is Noah when he turned 4months, last Tuesday.

Time is flying.. and than it's not?

Hard to believe that it's been over 3 yrs now for Tom and I. I have to shake my head and say only three years really? It feels so much longer, which it should because in February we'll have been together for 9 years and that total feels more right than the little 3 years that we have been married for. As well as for us marriage is really no different from what we had before, it's funny how some people find changes and with Tom and I nothing has change at all, which is totally what we expected anyhow.

So, Yup we are now 4 months old today. The time is flying. We got our needles today and they went so much better than last time around however we still cried but not as bad, I think giving the Tylenol 30mins before the appointment this time helped us out a lot. Dr today said he is a strong baby and seem to be doing well. He only gained 2lbs in the last two months and one inch so he's 13lbs 2.5oz and 25 inchs long. The doctor thinks he is going to have some height and be a lean one. I don't care as long as he just stay health and strong.

Well Noah is rolling a little but not a whole lot yet, thanks goodness at the moment. With me still sick he is a handful without the constant rolling. Noah likes to use his load voice now and sounds like a dinosaur when he wants to(normally all morning long), and is already flirting with the ladies with is eyes and smile. I am hoping to get a picture of him today and will posted it later for you all to see our little man.

Well just like trying to get our little guy to talk on camera, laughing was even harder. Our little man has been giving laughs here and there but not too many in a row. However we finally got many giggles from him, while daddy was acting like a fool.

Not much to babble about

Not too much to say or tell. It looks like Fall and winter is starting here, last weekend it rained all day Saturday and our apartment is pretty cool/cold now, so much better than sweating inside. We got Noah's passport so he is able to fly now, not sure how well he's going to do with flying but I guess we'll find out soon. Life is still throwing us curve balls but oh well we should be use to it by now you think. We aren't sure how much longer we are going to be in the USA for. We got our visa extended for two more yrs and than after that who knows. We been having trouble getting our green cards, with Tom's work/gov't/lawyers which just makes things a whole lot of great fun :S. Well I should run and get some stuff down around the house, Noah has blessed me today with an afternoon nap(these don't happen very often).

I wanted to Congratulate two very important people in my life, on their engagement!!!!! I am so happy for you guy!!!!!

3 Months Old!!!!!

I know I said it before and will probably say it every time. I can't believe our little man is 3 months old today!!!! Exactly at 9:24pm PST he was born 3 months ago, just looking at him and remember that day, it was one of the best days in our lives... I would do it all over again. Well our little man is 12lbs 4oz I took off 2oz from what the scale said because we didn't take off his diaper at the baby store where we weighted him, I still have to measure him to day to see how long he is but I know he is growing because a lot of his clothes are getting to short for him, good thing he has a big thick cloth diaper on, or I don't think he would be happy with us.





Also we just wanted to wish Tom's little brother Danny and his wife Genevieve on their first Anniversary. Congratulation guys it just gets better and better each year together.


I didn't realize it was signed in as tom. I figure if anyone notice they would assume anyhow it was me.

Well I just wanted to Congratulate a few people here on great news!!!!

We got great new from Tom's younger brother Trevor and his wife Sarah with the great news of them expecting their Second child sometime in March!!!

Today I found out that a high school friend just gave birth to their first child. So happy for you Kristi and Matt on your baby Boy!!!!


Well today we got to the Zoo and we had a great time. I'll try and post some pictures once the little man goes to bed if I am not too tired. I can't wait to go back to the again especially when Noah is a little older since he slept through half of it.

Just another babble

Well September is really not one of my favorite months of the year. Last few years I dread it coming and I just can't wait till October comes. I am trying to change that but it hard, just like anything that you try to change, it takes time and practice. Well for months now since the little man started cooing, laughing I been trying to get him on video and every time that we bring out video cam he well clams up like a little clam and as soon as we turn it he becomes the little motor mouth that he is. So finally I got a short little clip of him talking before he realized the camera was on him.


Here is another one of him playing in his bumbo which he's been in since he was 2 month, even though it says for 3-6months, Oh well I guess we got an extra month out of it. Now we are wondering how to get an extra months out of his clothes since he already in a lot of 6month clothes :S I guess we are lossing months with the clothes.

Update

Well since the little guy finally went down for a nap I thought I would try to update you all. Not too much to update but oh well. Noah is feeling better this week and our sleeping at night is starting to come back which got messed up after his needles. Last night he slept from 11:30pm to 6:30am and I think it was Bella that woke him up when she came into the room cry for her breakfast. Noah been loving his bath from day one, we play and we have him floating and he slash water everywhere and all over his face. I am hoping to take him into the pool this week or the weekend. He is also sitting up with a little help now which is fun to see. His doctor last week said that Noah is really strong and is growing very long in lean, hahaha that is something Tom and I lack of. He has grown 4 inches since birth and has put on 4lbs and 3oz from his drop weight after birth. There is height on both sides of the family, which tom and I didn't get. Tom's brothers are all taller and leaner and it's pretty much the same for me(but I am taller than one of my sisters, not by much though, sorry sandy), as well I have uncles and cousins that are well over 6 feet.

Well mom left yesterday and it was great having her here. I wish she could have stayed longer but 8 full days are better than nothing. We didn't get to show her a lot but hopefully she will come again and we can show her more. We've got our flights booked for home for Christmas/New Years, can't remember if I mention it before, however if we don't get Noah's passport, which is needed we might not be making it home. This might be the last time we are home for Christmas till the time comes when we move home and that is no wheres in the near future because this is the last year Tom's work is shutting down for Christmas :(. I'll greatly miss spending a week with him around Christmas time.

Well this blog only took the whole day to write. Noah only naps for 3omin when he decides to go down and it's almost 5pm here and he is just down for his second 30min nap. But I am not complaining I rather have it this way, than have him up all night and sleeping during the day. Who cares if the place doesn't get cleaned it just Tom here and well he could live in a pig pen and wouldn't care. I wish I felt the same way. I better get running, I now have 20 mins to clean the apartment before the little man wakes up.

Whoever Said......

needles weren't that bad is full of hockey sticks. Well a little over 2 month old Noah got his needles last week and it did not go over well. He got two in one leg, one in the other and oral drops. Well the oral drops were fine, however the needles are another story. I have never heard Noah cry that hard and loud in my life. Not even when he got his first needle and blood drawn in the hospital before we left when he was born and he cried hard than too. But this time was 1000 times worst. The poor little man had a fever and cried for 48 hours. All I can say is thank goodness for infant tylenol drop. I am so not looking forward to when he goes back for his fourth month appointment.

Well today is my Love's birthday!!!! I am not mentioning the age he is now, because well you are only as old as you feel, so in that case he is 5. But wow where did the years go is all I can say. So today we went to San Fran for the day and Tom finally did it....He walked the whole lenght of the Golden Gate Brigde down and back. I am so proud...if you don't know Tom has a huge fear of Hights and it not just looking down, it's looking up too. WAY TO GO LOVE YOU DID IT!!!!


It was also Noah first trip into the city and he was such a good boy. I don't think we'll have a hard time traveling with this one.
