great day
I am excited for next week where I get the green light from the doctor to start my exercise class again. Not completely sure how this will work yet. I think at the moment I will put Noah in the carrier on my back when he won't walk and Jonas in the stroller where I find it harder to carry Jonas on my front than Noah on my back. Got to love what pregnancy does to the good old abs. Anyhow I can't wait to exercise again, even though I know I have to start off slow and work my way back to where and what I could do. I am so bad at that, I just want to be at the level I stopped at. ugh no patience there. I am now a week with out chocolate too woohoo I have kicked the chocolate bug, very hard to do but Jonas helped me out a lot, now I just need to cut more sugar out of my system not that there is much left. But the chocolate is a start.
Still don't have a bike for tom yet but I am hoping soon b/c our weather has been gorgeous this week which is very nice but very bad b/c if we don't start getting rain again for a few months we are going to have huge water problem here in the summer...ugh water rationing and higher water bills not a good thing.
Not much else is going on with us. I am hoping to get out to a movie here with some friends or other mom's (might have to take Jonas with me depending on if I go with friends or other mom's from my exercise group( the movie will be in a few cities away so I wouldn't get home fast enough to feed Jonas).
Well good night folks I am hoping to sleep here soon but doubt where Jonas is a sleep now which mean he'll be up later. I must though the last two night Jonas has been a great sleeper I just hope he keeps it up and fallow in his big brother's foot steps.

A new year...
Also it hard to get around now that someone stole tom's bike off the patio, so he's has the car most days now unless I can get up and get both kids ready and drive him to work, but than it hard to get dinner ready and pick him up so we need to work something out here....don't really want to buy a new bike if it's just going to get stolen either. ...ugh more decision that have to be made, they just keep coming up and they all involve money, which is so lovely.
Lets see right now my heads spinning with lots of how to do this and what to do about this..Like:
1. will we be able to move??? as the date is getting closer to the renew of our lease, the end of April it's looking like we might have to rent a storage unit put stuff in that and buy bunk beds for Noah and Jonas b/c the house and renting market is just not where we want/need it to be but we'll have to wait and see how much they jack up our rent here first(got to love how they do that each yr) and go from there.
2. Buy a bike for tom and than where do we keep it, is locking it up on the patio enough or will they figure out a way to even get it than.
3. Do we have to buy another stroller...ugh this is why I didn't want to rush into one last yr b/c I knew this was going to happen this year. So what to do. I like the exercise ones b/c they are so easy to push, well you don't even have to push them they just roll. The BOB is so awesome but their double one is side by side and sometime hard to take places like the city on the bus or some stores and will it fold up and fit in our car. Than there is another one called the Phil and Ted Sport which you can buy a second seat for and it does have air tires but the tires are too small to be classified as an exercise stroller and the sun shade hardly covers the kids but it's compacted and folds up like a dream, yet I can't exercise with this one. Big catch is both of these option are very expensive even more then the normal expensive strollers. Whoever is in the baby market is making lots of money lets face it, nothing involving kids is cheap. So what to do what to do. For now I walk with Noah in a carrier on my back and Jonas in the stroller. We'll see how exercise class goes with that operation in a few weeks, should be a sight that is for sure.
4. What type of vacation we'll we get this year and where. As of now I have a trip for Tiffany's wedding in Victoria BC in May(right tiff), and than we'll try to get home sometime this year when the weather is better. Which doesn't leave a lot of vacation time left. I am still dreaming of one day going to Italy but not sure when that will happen and how much fun will it be with taking two kids with us on a trip like that. Oh well I am not stressing over this at all it will fall into place somehow but it will have to be well organized to fit everything in.
5. How long will it take me to get the swing of things and get completely organized into a routine where I feel like myself and have things working like I want them here. This is number five on the list but probably the most important one of all....hahaha so there really is no order to my list.
Well that is all I have time for right now. I got to mop the kitchen floor and get dinner ready. Noah napped today and Jonas finally is quiet in his bed so I took the time to write you guys, but who knows when Noah will have a nap again haha. Hope everyone is having a great week and a great start of the new year.

Happy New year.
I have to say that 2008 was good to us and I hope 2009 will be the same or even better. I hope 2009 goes a little slow but I know for a fact it won't and will probably go even faster, before I know it I will be sitting here writing and it will be the end of 2009 and we will have no babies in the house anymore our little man will be 1yrs old. It makes me sad just thinking about it. I wish the first yr didn't go by so fast or I should say I wish my babies wouldn't grow up so fast. Can you tell I am not looking forward to the school age years. I will be the parent crying my eyes out walking them to school, I guess that mean we'll just have to keep having babies haha.
Since Jonas has been home things have been pretty good besides of the fact I need a live in maid to help out some haha. and I dream of the day I don't have to walk 5min to do my laundry, not the easies with let alone one child but now add another one and oh my, Tom has been a big help in that area but it would be easier if I could just get the laundry done during the day, it's the most easies chore there is. Noah is a great big brother and last night was the first time he asked to hold Jonas but than decided he didn't want to after getting him set up and about to hand him Jonas haha, it was really cute though. Noah's teeth are still slowly coming in and we now have four molars two on top and two on bottom. But still have more to go...ugh most likely he'll just finish and than Jonas will start. Jonas is getting better at sleep which I am really happy about and now if we could just get the reflux that he has under control it would be great. He's growing and i expect that he is really close if not already 10 lbs. Jonas is smiling already and can hold his head up pretty good and for a minute or more at a time. Both boys seem to have really strong neck muscles and head control at birth compare to many newborn's b/c we really don't have to support them that much...sort of freaks us out at how strong they are. Jonas is already inch worms up on us when we are holding him, it's like he can't get high enough. So he'll be like his big brother and reach a lot of mile stones early i predict and well the second child normally does because they want in on the action so I assuming Jonas is going to be really really early at a lot of things. Which I guess won't be too bad b/c than Noah and him can play better, since Noah already trying to share his toys with Jonas and doesn't understand why Jonas won't take the toys he's holding out for him or giving him.
Well I should run I got an unexpected nap from Noah right now and I have so much house work to do and I really don't want to do it and I just really want to nap since Jonas is down too but lets face it the house doesn't clean it's self but oh how I wish it did, hence I need a live in house keeper.
Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and Hope 2009 is good to everyone.

Don't know what to think anymore
Today I found out that our friends Cherie and Andrew back in Ottawa gave birth to a health happy baby boy on Dec 2nd and are finally home hopefully with no more hospital trips b/c of jaundice etc. Congrats guys. Can't wait to see pictures of you little man, Lucas.
Now the very disturbing and bad new is my friend from my exercise class and who also lives right behind us found out on Thursday that their baby had 3 server heart defects and also a chromosome abnormality and wouldn't survive once she was born. They were five months pregnant and had to go to the hospital this weekend to be induce. They named her Elsa and she was born yesterday evening and my friend said she was beautiful-doll like. I don't really know all the details but was talking to her while she was in the hospital. My heart is breaking for her and their family. It just not fair that things like this happen to precious little angles that are so pure and innocent and never giving a chance. They have a long ways to go emotional and physical but she knows that we are here for her and her family.
Don't feel like writing any more, it's been hard having to see many ppl we are linked to in some way go through things like this. Really makes you think sometimes of how unfair the world can be.

Ugh yes I am going to complain
Well I started a blog last week for the long weekend but it didn't get finish like most of my blogs now a days, they just sit in the drafts and wait for me to either finish them or they just sit there. Anyhow it's another weekend and that's another weekend of being pregnant. I don't feel well, I am sore, it's hard to keep up with Noah b/c he wants me to chase him on the floor and it's just hard getting up and down, plus I been so nauseated lately and it just plan old sucks. I know I am not going to go into labour early that was just too much to ask but I do know that on Dec 24th I will be 42wks if I haven't deliver by than and will be induced b/c they won't let you go over that. So here is hoping that the baby comes before for Christmas eve, I really don't want to spend Christmas in the hospital.
The plan today is to do a lot of walking and try to finish up cleaning the apartment, finish my Christmas chocolates, Do some massage paper work that needs to be done for my license back in Ottawa, try and pick a name for the baby(nothing like last min eh?) Oh and finish up Christmas cards. ugh so much to do and so hard when I just want to lay down and rest. Oh well I have learned that being a mom there is no rest.
Well I hope you all have a good weekend, this better be the last weekend I am pregnant!!!!

Counting down the days
We just finished the last bit of staining on Noah and #2 new dresser thank goodness. it's not perfect but done. Now we just have to let it dry and get 3 coats of clear coat on it. It really needs to be done next weekend. So I guess I have more work to do this week and just hoping the rain holds off so I can get it done. AS well I am breaking my no Christmas decoration before Dec 1st. I think it's for the best that we get it up next weekend while Tom is home, and before the baby.

Another great Mom's night out

A great day off
I had a great surprise from my friends the other day. I knew they were taking me out on sunday and I just figure it was for lunch and well it was for lunch but also to my surprise they also took me to get a pedicure(I never had one before), where we all sat down and got one together. I felt really special, I can't remember when I have been treated by others besides tom like that. The pedicure was nice but the scrubbing was had to handle at times on the bottom of my feet where I am ticklish but it gave Kim and Kerry a good laugh at me trying not to jump around. I must admit that it was one of my best days I have had in a very very long time. Tom was happy too b/c Noah slept the whole time I was gone haha, luck man he is, plus he was happy that I had a good time out.

True meaning of Christmas
True Meaning of Christmas
Just a week before Christmas I had a visitor. This is how it happened. I just finished the household chores for the night and was preparing to go to bed, when I heard a noise in the front of the house. I opened the door to the front room and to my surprise, Santa himself stepped out next to the fireplace.
"What are you doing?" I started to ask. The words choked up in my throat and I saw he had tears in his eyes. His usual jolly manner was gone. Gone was the eager, boisterous soul we all know. He then answered me with a simple statement . . .
"TEACH THE CHILDREN!" I was puzzled. What did he mean? He anticipated my question and with one quick movement brought forth a miniature toy bag from behind the tree. As I stood bewildered, Santa said, "Teach the children!
Teach them the old meaning of Christmas. The meaning that now-a-days Christmas has forgotten. "Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a FIR TREE and placed it before the mantle. "Teach the children that the pure green color of the stately fir tree remains green all year round, depicting the everlasting hope of mankind, all the needles point heavenward, making it a symbol of man's thoughts turning toward heaven."
He again reached into his bag and pulled out a brilliant STAR. "Teach the children that the star was the heavenly sign of promises long ago. God promised a Savior for the world, and the star was the sign of fulfillment of His promise."
He then reached into his bag and pulled out a CANDLE. "Teach the children that the candle symbolizes that Christ is the light of the world, and when we see this great light we are reminded of He who displaces the darkness."
Once again he reached into his bag and removed a WREATH and placed it on the tree. "Teach the children that the wreath symbolizes the real nature of love. Real love never ceases. Love is one continuous round of affection."
He then pulled from his bag an ORNAMENT of himself. "Teach the children that I, Santa Claus, symbolize the generosity and good will we feel during the month of December."
He then brought out a HOLLY LEAF. "Teach the children that the holly plant represents immortality. It represents the crown of thorns worn by our Savior. The red holly berries represent the blood shed by Him.
Next he pulled from his bag a GIFT and said, "Teach the children that God so loved the world that he gave his begotten son." Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
Santa then reached in his bag and pulled out a CANDY CANE and hung it on the tree. "Teach the children that the candy cane represents the shepherds' crook. The crook on the staff helps to bring back strayed sheep to the flock. The candy cane is the symbol that we are our brother's keeper."
He reached in again and pulled out an ANGEL. "Teach the children that it was the angels that heralded in the glorious news of the Savior's birth. The angels sang Glory to God in the highest, on earth peace and good will toward men."
Suddenly I heard a soft twinkling sound, and from his bag he pulled out a BELL,. "Teach the children that as the lost sheep are found by the sound of the bell, it should ring mankind to the fold. The bell symbolizes guidance and return.
Santa looked back and was pleased. He looked back at me and I saw that the twinkle was back in his eyes. He said, "Remember, teach the children the true meaning of Christmas and do not put me in the center, for I am but a humble servant of the One that is, and I bow down to worship him, our LORD, our GOD."

Also I still haven't decided if I will cook a small dinner for just Tom and I for Thanksgiving here or have a few ppl over like last yr. I love having ppl over and cooking for ppl but it's also stress full and a lot of work. I guess we'll see. I am starting to like having thanksgiving in November though, it seem to break up the holidays better, October is Halloween(not really a holiday but fun all the same), November is Thanksgiving which is huge down here and a 4 day weekend, and then the best of all it's December and Christmas(even though it not the same with out snow) I love the decorations and the lights and just the spirit of Christmas. I feel warm and loved during Christmas and this yr not stressed at all. I love just staying home for Holidays, it feels so nice to be home in our own place even though we'll miss family but it just nice to be home. I think I am going to start my Christmas chocolates now though b/c I don't think I'll get them done other wise, not sure if I will get everyone done or just do a big batch for everyone to share. As well I am going to make some Pumpkin bread today if Noah stays down(his mouth is all swollen from all the teeth trying to come in, it's sad and hard on mom b/c she doesn't have her happy boy).
I think that is enough rambling for today. Oh and Tom and I asked Santa this yr to find us a long lost rich relative that wants to give us money or a house!!! it could happen right LOL.

So....
Two of Noah's molars are almost completely through which I will be happy about. He's doing okay but more cuddly in a sad way and not sleeping well and we had a fever for two days....ugh makes for a sad boy and a sad mom. I will be happy when it's not bugging him and he goes back to eating and sleeping well. Noah talking so much these days. He will say up please when he wants you to stand up and than he will take your seat, points to the moon and can say moon. Love and can say Elmo(we have an Elmo vest and hat and mits), calls Bella (Bellbell). showers us with kissing and blowing kiss all day. He points to my belly and say baby and gives it a kiss too. There is so much this little man do I could write a book, he just surprise us all the time.
Only other news is Tom and I finally got out for a dinner date for the first time well since Noah was born. We did get to a movie back in july2007 when Tom's mom was here but besides that Noah has been with us all the time. My friend took Noah for 2.5hours so that Tom and I could go out to dinner just the two of us. I have to say it was great and so nice just to spend sometime with Tom. I really miss our alone time sometimes but I wouldn't trade Noah for it. We went to a nice restaurant that we have gone to before we were parents and had I nice meal and it was nice to eat a hot meal too. Normally my meal is cold by the time I get Noah finished etc. I know how mom felt now with all of us at home. Anyhow since it was pouring out after dinner we couldn't do anything else so we went grocery shopping which was a treat as well without Noah. It's so hard to get shopping done with toddlers. Well hopefully we'll get out again one day before Noah turns 3.
Well Noah is napping and I think I will try too or work on #2 Christmas stocking. Still hoping I can get it done but we'll see.

funny story
OKay so the funny thing is, in our apartment complex which is made up of either one or two story buildings. We live in a one story building that only has four apartment connected and we live in one of the middle apt of the four. Now let say we live in apartment 2, well we knew that the couple that lives in apt 4 is except and due in December with their first and it's a boy and a few days ago we walked out of our front door and ran in to our neighbours who's door is right beside ours and lives in apartment 3. We don't see them often which is surprising and appear not to be home a whole lot which explains why we don't see them that much. Anyhow as we ran into them when we were coming out, wouldn't you know it she is expecting too and in the month of December with their first and it's a boy as well haha.. I had to laugh b/c I said to tom "man are the building around ours, going to love our building because out of 4 apartments 3 of us are excepting all in the same month". The buildings here aren't insulated and don't have double pain windows so you can pretty much hear everything inside and outside. We laugh at it all and I just felt like share it with you all.
